But with winter well set in, exercise seems an unattractive option, motivation may be low and we just want to keep warm and &#8211; possibly &#8211; comfort eat.</p>
<p>Yet, knowing what&#8217;s in store over the forthcoming festive season &#8211; parties and possible excesses &#8211; it makes sense to try and lose a few pounds before Christmas so that the impact isn&#8217;t too serious.</p>
<p>There are plenty of <strong>calorie-counting</strong> andÂ <strong>crash diets</strong> available to help you <strong>lose weight fast</strong>, but quite apart from them being unhealthy, and even potentially dangerous, long-term they don&#8217;t work, because the weight and fat you lose will always come back (and usually more) when you stop the diet.</p>
<p>What is needed is a new and healthy approach to losing weight.</p>
