    While exercising and eating the correct foods is right in theory, often there’s much more to it than that and people have emotional reasons for not being able to lose weight.

    For instance, perhaps they have an unsupportive partner who sabotages their weight loss for fear they might become attractive to the opposite sex and go off to “pastures new”. If someone is unaware of these kind of issues weight gain can just be a self-perpetuating problem.
